Beaded Jewlery
This past weekend my daughter and I went to the craft store for supplies to make our own beaded jewlery. This was my daughters first experience with beading jewlery. She absolutely loved it!! I knew that she would like it, but she has truely found her new hobby. She was going on and on about how she’s going to start doing more chores around the house so that she can earn more money for her own beads and tools. I am so proud of her. Most kids want to go out and spend their money on video games or other electronic devices.
I’m so excited to be doing something with my daughter that doesn’t involve electricity lol. I remember when my grandmother first taught me how to make beaded jewlery. I could sit and do it for hours. My back does not allow that now that I am older lol. I don’t have a lot of time to spend with my children one on one these days, so I’m really glad my daughter and I can spend time together doing something constructive. We’ve decided to start a blog about our adventures in beading jewlery. My daughter will be making posts as well about her trials and tribulations!
